Huge congratulations to Ellie (2nd Year) who was announced the overall Junior winner of the Kate Maher Speech Competition held in Trinity College. This is a nationwide competition for young women and gender minorities in Secondary Schools. Ellie won with her fantastic speech, and we are very proud of her. 

Well done to our Junior students, Kathleen (3rd year), Saoirse (2nd year) and Ellen (3rd year) who represented St. Al's in a National debating competition at UCD, Dublin last Saturday. While they didn’t make it to the final debate they did the school proud in making it to the top 60 nationally.

Well done girls. We are very proud of you all.
